By the middle of the 21st century, Vietnam will become a developed country with high income, following the socialist orientation as set out in Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.
The leadership of our Party always directs and reminds the entire Party, people, and army to be steadfast and creative in applying Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology; to be steadfast in the goal of national independence and socialism; to be steadfast in the Party's renewal path. To live in a way that we do not feel regret or sorrow for the years we have lived in vain; to not feel ashamed of our lowly actions, despised by others; so that when we close our eyes, we can be proud that our entire life, our entire strength, we have dedicated to the noblest cause in the world - the cause of national liberation, the liberation of humanity, bringing happiness to the people! "The steel that I have tempered in red fire and cold water, becomes fearless!"... and the poem by poet To Huu: "There is still a second, a minute of breath/ That is still the relentless fight!"
